Dear friends,On 23 May, I shared a stage with my fellow candidates during the District 2 Congressional Candidate Forum, held in Westminster MD. Thanks to Ron, Don, Robin and the Tri-District Republican Club of North Carroll County, who gave us a chance to show voters were we stand on the issues. Please check it out, as your time permits.

Last night the Berney Flowers for Congress Team attended the 2nd Annual Lincoln-Reagan-Douglas Dinner, sponsored by the Baltimore City Republican Club. Virginia’s Lt Governor, Winsom Sears gave an inspiring speech, as we all had a great time. Candidates Dan Cox, Gordana Schifanelli and numerous political luminaries were in attendance. What a exceptional night we had.

Please check out my remarks the in the Baltimore Sun Voter Guide.

Please review the following article. This is just one example of why Baltimore Schools are failing and why Baltimore kids have been undeserved. https://foxbaltimore.com/…/inspector-general-audits…. “$10 million going to City Schools to fund students who were not in school. Statewide, that figure is close to $24 million over the last five years, for nearly 3,000 students”.

Mr. Bernard “Berney” Flowers is running for Congress in Maryland’s 2nd Congressional District. With a career that spans over 33 years of combined experience in the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the private sector, Berney brings a wealth of expertise to bear.

Berney Flowers is the Republican running for US Congress in MD – 2. He is a veteran and a dedicated civil servant, IHe was warned to keep his opinions to himself and to be politically neutral. He can no longer do that, in good conscience. The current presidential administration has been in power for just about a year and he believes our country is worse off for it. He will not stand by and watch my beloved country be driven to failure. 35 years ago he took an oath to “defend my country against all enemies, foreign and domestic”.

U.S. Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger has never represented Carroll County. The veteran Democrat is based in Baltimore County, and his congressional district currently also includes pieces of Anne Arundel, Howard and Harford counties.

Last night, (15 March) we had a very busy night as I made presentations at both Maryland House of Delegates LaToya Nkongolo’s Fundraiser, and at the Severna Park Republican Women’s Club’s March Meeting. I had a great time and met some really outstanding people.
