J. Hollis B. Albert, III

As an entrepreneur, developer, restaurateur, civil servant and surf fisherman he has served his community in several different business ventures including restoring the historic 1939 Senator movie theater, and redeveloping an old German Church in the Remington neighborhood as a unique independent art gallery, Angelfall Studios and Cafe.

In recent years using the incubator concept, Hollis took the empty 50,000 sq ft Beverage Capital building in the Abell/Charles Village neighborhood to build one of the largest breweries in Baltimore City, Peabody Heights Brewery with second year sales exceeding $1MM.  Hollis has received multiple commendations from Mayor Schmoke and Mayor O’Malley including several Certificates of Appreciation, multiple Citizen Citations, a Community Partnership Award and a Letter of Commendation.  Hollis continues to reside in Baltimore County with his wife, Sandra, and is an active member of Grace & St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Mt. Vernon.
